Saxophonist/Arranger Michael O’Neill takes a trip on the Latin side with Synergy, the newest album of classic pop and soul songs reimagined with an array of Afro-Latin grooves, featuring 11-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Tony Lindsay, best known for his nearly two-decade tenure with Santana. The all-star band includes trumpeter Erik Jekabson, pianist John R. Burr, bassist Dan Feiszli, drummer Jason Lewis, and percussionist Omar Ledezma.

TONY LINDSAY
After 25 years as the lead vocalist for Santana, Tony Lindsay has garnered 11 Grammy awards, traveled on several world tours and recorded on seven CDs: Milagro (1992), Supernatural (1999), Shaman (2002), Ceremony (2003) and Food for Thought (2004), Ultimate Santana (2007) and Multi-Dimensional Warrior (2008). Their current tour involves Santana's First Rock Residency: an exclusive two-year deal for 36 shows with AEG at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's concert hall "The Joint," which began May 27, 2009. When not on tour with Santana, Lindsay performs at various local venues and festivals. Tony has become a regular performer for The Golden State Warriors(NBA), The Santa Cruz Warriors (G league NBA), The San Francisco 49ers, The San Francisco Giants and The San Jose Sharks, singing The National Anthem. tonylindsay.com
MICHAEL O’NEILL
Michael leads several jazz groups in the Bay Area. He has always enjoyed working with great vocalists. One of his recent albums, Pacific Standard Time, featured singer Tony Lindsay, who gained fame working with Santana from 1995 to 2020. O’Neill’s first three albums featured the world-renowned Bay Area vocalist Kenny Washington. Their partnership spans over 20 years, and the two have performed together in many notable venues including headlining the San Jose, Mid- Atlantic and Monterey Jazz Festivals. He has played and/or recorded with Idris Muhammad, Joe Locke, Geoffrey Keezer, Michael Wolff, Rodney Jones, Kenny Washington, Jackie Ryan, Tony Lindsay, Akira Tana, Michael Bluestein, Nicolas Bearde, Smith Dobson Sr., and many others. mosax.com
